Tricia is Fired and other news!

So I have fired Tricia because in one week I had several thousand requests for 1)more pictures of her legs and 2) more shoe buying hints. It is a sad state of affairs isn't it.
Here are a few pictures of her legs to hold you over for a few years!

Wow look at those pointed toes!
For help with your shoe buying addictions call Tricia or Sara although all they will suggest is shoe shopping as a temporary fix!

I was reading a friends blog today and she was doing some lists. (Relax Tricia I am not going to do another to do list) I liked her idea. I am a list person. So I am stealing it because she lives way too far away to do anything about it!

The list for today (being Sunday) is entitled...

"Callings I have Held Since I Graduated from YW". From past to present.

  • Primary Accompanist
  • Assistant Camp Director
  • Sorority President (I was actually set apart thank you very much)
  • Sorority Inter-chapter President (ditto)
  • Relief Society Education Counselor
  • Gospel Doctrine Teacher
  • Sacrament Meeting chorister
  • FHE group leader
  • 13-14 yr old Sunday School Teacher
  • Achievement Day Leader
  • Primary Teacher
  • Achievement Day Leader again
  • Primary Teacher again
  • Relief Society Homemaking committee
  • Relief Society Teacher
  • YW Beehive Counselor
  • YW Laurel Advisor
As I look back it is so interesting that I can see ... when I started college, when I was in a student ward, when I got married, and when we moved each time. all from what calling I held at the time. Interesting for me. Not so much for you. It is my blog though. Right Tricia?

So I could go through and tell you which were my favorites and which were my nightmare but Tricia would call me and tell me I was boring. So you tell me (she won't call you most likely) which callings have you held, which were your favorites and which ones did you barely survive and if you get called to again you may go inactive callings?

We are so excited (thanks to Angie) that we have found you again. Your long lost little brother and sister in law miss you. Jimmy always thought of and treated you like a big sister. We would have commented sooner, but were a bit freaked out by Tricia. Your family is cute, although lacking some pink. We have some for you to borrow if you want (ie., our two year old Kaitlyn. You can have her most days of the week). As far as callings go, Jenni was recently released from her eternal primary calling and awaiting her next assignment. Jimmy is in young men's, again, and longs for his most favorite calling of ward chorister. He really liked waving his hand in the air, and has even had Cameron assist him on occasion. Our dream calling would be tag teaming as the primary chorister. Jimmy again waving his hand in the air and acting like a kid again, or still. Jenni coming up with all the creative ideas. We are known to stalk blogs so we look forward to stalking you, cybernetically of course.

I love you. And Tricia. Don'tcha just want to get together and have Ladies Night Potluck in the break room of DB just one more time? Huh? Am I alone here?

I had no idea that you played the piano! How did we go for so many years without that coming up. Primary accompaniest?

I agree with Tiff. We need a pot luck.

Looks like they've been concentrating your efforts in a few key areas.

Next time you should ask for Librarian or cannery specialist to give a little variety to the list.

And did I start a petition to get Tricia to start her own blog? She shouldn't need to 'take over' yours, which was so funny, btw.

Yeah, Trisha should start her own blog! Does our vote not count? It was so fun, but I would miss hearing from you, too.

Sounds like you've had some great callings. Laurel Advisor was probably my favorite. All the adoration and minimal responsibility. You are so lucky.

Jenni and Jimmy!
I was thrilled to find you also. I was thinking about how many people I loved at DB and how happy I am to find you again! Jimmmy totally reminds me still of my little brother Andrew who by the way married a Jennifer! I will take your little Kaitlyn any day but you will have to trade me my teen in training Josh! Don't be freaked out by my sister. (It actually was just me writing as my sister to mock her) she is a techno phob and it isn't very often that she even comments!

Tiff, Angie, Jenni, Jimmy, Angie and Brett and any other DB people out there! I have totally thought about doing a Pot Luck reunion! I talked to Russ Morley and Terri O'Brien who were also very gung-ho (as long as someone else plans it!) So Tiff next time you are in town....

Jacqui,
I totally want the calling of Sacrament Bread Coordinator! I would really spice up that calling by switching it up now and then! I told Tricia I was going to continue to mock her by being her ghostwriter until she does a blog of her own. However, since I am so much funnier than the real Tricia she will probably never attempt it!

Brenny,

Tricia is never swayed by her fans! I will continue posing as her from time to time.
Laurel Advisor does rock. The girls love me for the minimum amount of work!

Let see: Relief Society teacher, Girls Camp Director, YW secretary, Enrichment committee, Nursery...nursery...nursery (anyone else had this become the endless calling?)Primary 6yr olds, 10yr olds, RS chorister (loved this calling), Nursery again-how did this happen?! I knew the minute I accepted, all the other teachers would get released to other callings because I didn't learn anything the first 3year stint I did in my last ward- It happened... and now because no one will accept the nursery calling I'm going to be there for awhile. Because the only other helpers they could find for me have other callings already themselves and are only there for one hour each. Pitiful. I may be burned out on nursery, but I could not say no to a desperate 2nd counselor who needed someone to tell him yes to this calling. Ok ,thank you for letting me get that off my chest. And I think Tricia needs to do her own blogging and quit dictating yours Kelli, I love your lists!

Kelli,

I loved that you were upping your count by adding individual replies to each of your comments. FANTASTIC! I'm going to have to employ it so that I feel better about myself by the number that appears at the bottom of the post. :)
