The BEST month of the year is here! Thank you Alli for remembering to wish me Happy August on the 1st. You were the only one. I was a bit hurt but I know people are busy with their lives.

Just because your birthday is in August doesn't mean you get to claim the whole month.
I suppose I should have assumed that it was your birthday month. I'll expect some great posts (with great photos) all about YOU!

Kelli, you are funny. My mom says that your birthday is in August...is that why you like it or is it because your kids go back to school?
It's weird to me that some people didn't know your birthday was in August. (I know it's on the 25th not because of my, in your words, freakish memory, but because you somehow seem to fit it in to every conversation I've had with you) Your trait of shameless self-promotion must be something you've picked up recently.
BTW - Since you are turning 40 it seems like the stereo-typical thing to do would be avoiding mentioning your birthday, so good for you on embracing your old age
